Ethics - Character, Community, Consequences
On Friday, November 7, 2003, the Metropolitan Center and the Department of Philosophy at the University of Central Florida hosted a forum that examined the role ethical considerations play in our community's everyday life and workplace. Distinguished speakers included: The Honorable Toni Jennings, Lieutenant Governor of Florida; Tim Franklin, Vice President and Editor of the Orlando Sentinel; Dr. Richard Lapchick, Director of Sports Business Management at UCF; and J. Richard Munro, former CEO of Time-Warner, Inc. Students from six area high schools joined a capacity crowd at Leu Gardens.
